A Creationist Answers The Question "Did Humans Really Evolve From Apelike Creatures?"

Did humans really evolve from apelike creatures? Of course if you are going to ask a creationist, he/she will say no. It would still be interesting to listen to how he/she would answer the question aside from citing a passage from the Holy Book.

In the following video, Dr. David Mention, a young earth creationist does indeed try to answer the question. He starts of course by citing the Bible. He then goes on a four-minute lecture about Lucy, Neanderthal Man and the Piltdown Man. Although the man has a background in biology and chemistry, he isn't an expert in the field of evolutionary biology and it shows in his arguments.

At one point during the video, Menton says, "Lucy does not represent an ancestor of man and many evolutionists now concede that yet it continues to be the most influential of the ape man." Many evolutionists concede? Really? Who are these evolutionists? Of course, he didn't bother to name names.

Anyway, here's the video. And by the way, the video is by Answers In Genesis, the ministry by Ken Ham which is aggressively pushing the idea that men and dinosaurs used to live together not more than 10,000 years ago.
