Great Bits Of Comedy From Ian Harris's Comedy Special Critical & Thinking

The most effective and most well-known mouthpieces for atheism and skepticism are usually comedians. The likes of George Carlin, Bill Maher, Lewis Black, Penn Jillette, etc. Through their standup routines, they've criticized and dissected the absurdities of religion and popular myths. Now we have another comedian critic in Ian Harris who just released his comedy special Ian Harris: Critical & Thinking last month.

I've never heard of the guy until Hemant Mehta of Friendly Atheist posted a couple of clips of his comedy on his Patheos blog. And I have to say he's good. He definitely has the chops. In the two clips below, Harris talks about Richard Dawkins' book The God Delusion and the common misconception that evolution is "just a theory". To be honest, there's not much that is new with Harris' take-down of said topics but it's enjoyable being reminded of the absurdities of religion.

Just a Theory and God Delusions are just two of the 16 segments in Critical & Thinking. The other segments explore racism, alternative medicine, the paranormal, ghosts, the mythical apelike creature Bigfoot and so much more. You can get the full special from Amazon or from iTunes.
