Stories From Yesterday's TV Patrol Baguio

1) Members of the Philippine National Police Baguio busted a suspected drug pusher during a raid on a building at Engineer's Hill, Baguio City. Recovered from the room of the suspect were several drug paraphernalia, a revolver and a high-caliber shotgun.

2) Swindler caught. The suspect, a man, goes around Baguio City barangays asking for money to purportedly help the medical needs of his son suffering from a kidney ailment. Such son doesn't exist. The suspect though was able to extract thousands of pesos from his barangay victims.

3) Labor foreman still unconscious weeks after being hit on the head for a still unknown reason and by a still unidentified assailant. There are reasons to believe though that the attack was due to the fact that the victim was a member of the demolition team that brought down a part of the Baguio City Public Market few weeks ago.

4) Marriage annulment cases in Baguio City is on the rise. The church sector says the statistic is very alarming. Annulment isn't the solution to marital problems, they stressed.

5) The Baguio Muslim Community condemns the planned burning of the Qur'an by a pastor in the United States. The burning of the Qur'an according to the pastor is going to be in commemoration of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center Towers.
